Saber Rhino and Crabomination
The Saber Rhino is massive relative of the rhinoceros, standing over fourteen feet at the shoulder (on average) and the males armed with a seven foot horn with a sharp front edge. Native to Akkadia and surrounding regions, domesticated females of the species are tamed as beasts of burden, while males are trained for war.
The Crabomination is said to be a sailor’s legend by land dwellers who have never seen one. They are massive and aggressive crabs that can be found in fresh or salt water. Crabominations range in size from as wide as a grown man, to large enough to capsize full sized sailing ships. Older specimens are said to grow additional limbs or claws as they regenerate from wounds. Their discarded shells are sometimes fashioned into armor - or even houses - by those who dwell under the sea.
