Batdrake and Otter Glider

Now for cuteness!
The Batdrake is a small winged serpent.  The most common species on Nova Eian have bat wings and scales in many jewel-like colors, while it is said Valean Batdrakes are feathered.  They are occasionally tamed as pets and can be taught a variety of tricks.  Nova Eian Batdrakes are native to the isle of Gardorian.

The Otter Glider is a playful gliding forest dweller from western Nova Eian.  They are omnivores, but prefer mushrooms to all other foods. Smaller than their seagoing relatives, the Otter Gliders generally prefer a life of acrobatic gliding from tree to tree, engaging in comical antics and cracking open the occasional acorn. Traveller’s tales claim that some otter gliders launching from cliffside trees can be seen gliding for miles on clear days.
